Haryana Extends Haud Chillar Commission Scope in Ahirwal

Chandigarh (I-Haryana News):Haryana Government abiding the orders of Punjab and Haryana High Court in  Civil Writ Petition No. 3821/2012,has  extended the scope of Justice T.P.Garg (Haud Chillar) Commission to cover the area of Pataudi and any other area of Gurgaon district in addition to the area already assigned. A notification to this effect has been issued by the State Government.

It may be recalled that the State Government had appointed a Commission of Inquiry headed by Justice T.P.Garg(Retd.) to make an enquiry into killing of innocent Sikhs in Haud Chillar village in district Rewari and damage caused to properties of Sikhs living there in incidents of violence in November 1984.

However, this Commission will not inquire into the incidents which have already been investigated by Justice Nanavati Commission set up by the Central Government. Any claim of the victims from Pataudi and Gurgaon district, which had not been considered by Mr Justice G.T.Nanavati can be made before Justice T.P.Garg (Haud Chillar) Commission.

It is mention that the Rewari is home town of Haryana Power Minister, Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav and Haud Chillar village falls in the constituency represented him, who once remained close to Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Chief Minister, Haryana turned hostile and joined dissidents camp in Haryana Congress.

The Rewari and extended area of in Gurgaon is densely populated by Ahirs to whom Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav and another Ahir Leader Rao Inderjeet Singh Belong and this extension in the scope of Commission  applies on this region.
