Information to this effect was shared by Dr. Ajay Singh Chautala, National General Secretary, INLD that the party has decided to protest in all districts against quoting the name of Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi to refer an incidence of corruption in state the by a senior bureaucrat posted in Chief Minister Office in presence of Chief Minister, Haryana, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda during a meeting of DCs and SPs and all the senior officers at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh on 7th july.

Dinesh Singh Rawat's Views

To protest against using the name of Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi in corruption by a senior bureaucrat posted in Chief Minister Office, Haryana is a political move by Om Prakash Chautala's INLD,the senior IAS officer of Chief Minister Office, who had quoted the name of the name of Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi to depict the rampant  corruption prevailing in officialdom that categorically stated in the presence of Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda and all senior officers that despite his reference the person for whom he telephoned the officer told him flatly that  senior officer's favor  made him reached there, now onwards Mahatma Gandhi(Indian Currency on which the Photograph is imprinted ) will for him.

The above mentioned incidence primarily established the handicappness of present political system and government machinery  to check corruption prevailing in its officialdom, because here question arises that, Had the senior officer, who had narrated Mahatma Gandhi linked corruption tale to high powered audience(Chief Minister and all senior IAS officers) made compliant against corrupted officer?

If Senior officers in Government do not have courage  to bring corrupt officers/officials under  in purview of law, and think their responsibility only to quote the corruption cases in close doors meetings, than what we should expect from common man who is struggling to meet both ends of his life and  reeling under all directions attacks by corruption in his day to day life.

Last not the least, quoting Mahatma Gandhi's name corruption case as mode of corruption is some thing serious for Indian polity where such quotes and misquotes bring political storms, that  I  think Mr. Chautala has smelled and trying to politicize the issue to dent Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda's Political fort.
