HC Declares T C Gupta IAS Guilty in Contempt of Court

Chandigarh (I-Haryana News): The Haryana Town and Country planning department Director. Mr. T C Gupta, IAS was declared guilty by the Punjab and Haryana High Court acting Chief Justice, Justice Jasbir Singh for disobeying high court order in Public Interest Litigation (Civil Writ Petition) Filed by Mr. Bimal Kumar Datta.

As per information, the High Court asked not to grant colony developing licence in sector 63A of Gugaon till court decide on the matter, but the Town and Country planning department headed by Mr. T C Gupta, IAS granted the licence after ignoring the High Court directions, which High Court conceded as contempt of court in its interim order passed by acting Chief Justice, Justice Jasbir Singh on Monday.

Haryana Town and Country planning department is a most lucrative government department, which remains under direct control of the state chief minister, Mr. bhupinder Singh Hooda for last seven years.

Change and Land Use popularly called CLU , which most of Haryana politicians know and devopment of private colonies are bane of corruption is this department .

As fur as Mr. T C Gupta, who holds charge of director Town and Country planning department since Mr. Hooda started his Chief Minister tenure  have many contempt of court proceeding against him , but today court declared him guilty for disobeying court directions.
