Geetika Sharma Suicide Note Questions Haryana Save Girl Child Campaign

Chandigarh (I Haryana News): Haryana Home Minister, Mr. Gopal Kanda on Sunday was booked By Delhi Police under 306 IPC to abet Geetika Sharma, a former air hostess in MDLR airline to commit suicide on Saturday.

If Mr. Hooda could able to decode his cabinet colleague behaviour in time than this innocent life of Geetika could be saved by a state which has worst Female Sex ratio, and have history of female child feticide which has resultant into population imbalance in favour of Males.

How a government whose Home minister has resigned only after a woman committed suicide and made him responsible to abet her to take this extreme step, can ask its citizens that male and female child are equal.

The deceased has left suicide note which the Delhi police has taken its possession and on the basis of this police has filed FIR against Mr. Gopal Kanda for abetting Geetika Sharma to commit suicide.

Intelligent Haryana News has copy of suicide note written by deceased Geetika Sharma on August 4, 2012, the day she had committed suicide and note written on May 4, 2012.

“As per suicide note written by Geetika Sharma put direct blame of his death on two persons, the first she wrote the name of lady named Aruna Chadha, a Gopal Kanda’s company employee and Mr. Gopal Goyal Kanda, the Honorable Home Minister of Haryana.

She further written in her suicide note that both had misused her for their benefits and after that broken her trust, and now they had started to sabotage her family members.

Geetika Sharma written that both Mr. Gopal Kanda and his aide Aruna Chadha are fraud, cheaters and crooks, as they can harm anyone for their purposes. She lamented in his last note before her death that it was her mistake to forgive Mr. Gopal Kanda, as after that he again started to hurt my me and my family.

At last the dying woman termed Haryana Home Minister, Mr. Gopal Kanda, a cheat and fraud man, and begged that both Mr. Gopal Kanda and his aide Aruna Chadha should be punished for their wrong deeds and malicious intentions towards her and her family, as they made her life abnormal.

It is to mention that the former air hostess of Mr. Kanda’s MDLR airline, Geetika Sharma had also written a note on May 4, 2012, i.e. exact three months ago in which she started with a sentence that Haryana Home Minister, Mr. Gopal Kanda is a fraud and always keep bad intentions towards girls, and always takes advantage of others.

In this note, Geetika had exposed, Mr. Kanda extramarital relationship with a woman named Anikta and have a girl child out of this illicit relation, and still keep on hitting girls, and even lies his family, kids and all people around him.

In this note written on May 4, 2012, she had described clear cut reason why Aruna Chadha was helping Mr. Gopal Kanda to hurt and harass her and her family because to save her job.

In Last of this note Geetika Sharma written that because she had trusted both (Gopal Kanda and Aruna Chadha) which they had broken was costing her life and made reason of her separation from his family, Mom, dad and bai (brother).”

The dying statement of any person is assumed true in the eyes of law, than it has raised a big iota over Indian democratic system, which had placed person like Mr. Gopal Kanda in the post of Home minister of the state, the minister under whose control Haryana state police and law and order remained for more than two and half years for state of Haryana.

Further, it puts a debatable question about formation of congress government in Haryana after 2009 general elections, when congress party under present Chief Minister failed to get clear-cut majority, and the independent elected MLA, Mr. Gopal Kanda got important portfolio like Home ministry by music chair method or in bargain for support for congress government. In both cases it could spoil the mind of person, which the deceased, Geetika Sharma had described in her suicide note written before her death.

Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda had received indicators of his Home Minister acts earlier when after taking oath as minister, Kanda visited the income tax office in Delhi's Jhandewalan area where he was facing serious charges, including beating up tax officers during raids at his offices to exhibit his political power. 

 Mr. Kanda was caught in camera using abusive language in public domain in 2010 asking his security personnel to fire at traders who were observing as strike in Sirsa district after his motorcade was stopped during the protest.

Also, Kanda's driver was involved in a gang rape case in Gurgaon November 2010. The victim was gang-raped in a car in the campus of Jan Pratinidhi apartments (MLA apartments) in sector 28, Gurgaon where Kanda's niece lived in the flat issued to him. The victim was working as a maid there. A case was registered.

If Mr. Hooda could able to decode his cabinet colleague behaviour in time than this innocent life of Geetika could be saved by a state which has worst Female Sex ratio and have history of female child feticide resultant into population imbalance in favour of Males. 

How a government whose Home minister has resigned only after a woman committed suicide and made him responsible to abet her to take this extreme step can ask its citizens that male and female child are equal.

If Its Home Minister uses females as toys to play with how society could belief on tall promises made under the Save Girl Child Campaign launched by Haryana Government to stop the female feticide. 

This alleged act of defiance by Haryana Home Minister Gopal Kanda could again spread fear in the minds those parents who considered female child as more fragile to social harassment than male, and take route of female feticide to avoid the social stigma as Geetika Sharma family are facing before and after her death.

The point raised in news report is a serious that this alleged criminal act of Home Minister of one of proclaimed number one state of India put rightly said question mark over the Save the girl Child Campaign, as family usually considered a female child a life long social responsibility not because of her economical but more importantly to keep her safe from bad intentions and actions of males of dominated classes in particular and  from all males in general, which poor Geetika Sharma family could not able to provide because of Haryana Home minister, Mr. Gopal Kanda's strong political clout, But once again will remind parents of Female child about life long social security concerns for their loved daughters and sisters.
